River Cruise, Mekong River

Today (18/8/12) we went down to the riverside to go on a boat ride down the Mekong River. The trip itself was good but may have been to long for Jordan and Liam. It is interesting to see the infrastrature going ahead in the tourist area and then seeing how the water villages live. It was amazing as we got so many people waving at us as we went by and they were all smiling and seemed happy. We saw a group of boys with various ages playing volleyball and it is so enlightening to see these people living as they do enjoying themselves and making the most out of life. I know a country that could take alot from that!  The water village is definitely poorer than the Brunei village but it seemed so much more vibrant, as far as one can be in those situations
